Research Progress on the Mechanism of Acupuncture in Treating Menopausal Syndrome in Women

Abstract: Menopausal syndrome is a common clinical disease. In recent years, its incidence has shown a high growth rate and a younger trend, seriously threatening the physical and mental health of women. Acupuncture therapy starts from the whole body, regulates the functions of the zang-fu organs and Chong and Ren meridians, and can thus alleviate the clinical symptoms of patients. By retrieving relevant literature on acupuncture treatment of menopausal syndrome in recent years, this paper aims to explore the mechanism of acupuncture in treating this disease. Through analysis, it is found that acupuncture can intervene in the treatment of menopausal syndrome from multiple targets, multiple levels and multiple systems, mainly involving the neuro-endocrine system, immune system, vasomotor factors, monoamine neurotransmitters, oxidative stress levels and cell signaling pathways. By summarizing the relevant mechanisms of acupuncture in treating menopausal syndrome, this paper points out the existing deficiencies and development directions in current research, thereby deepening the understanding of acupuncture in treating menopausal syndrome and providing theoretical basis and new ideas for clinical practice. Forecasting Analysis of the Number of AIDS Incidence in China Based on the SARIMA-SVM Combination Model

Abstract: Based on the monthly incidence data of AIDS, a SARIMA model and a SARIMA-SVM combination model are constructed to study and predict the number of cases, providing a scientific basis for the prevention and control of AIDS. The monthly incidence count data of AIDS from January 2004 to September 2023 are used as the training set, and the monthly incidence count data from October 2023 to September 2024 are used as the test set. Using R software, these two models are applied to predict the monthly incidence count of AIDS in China, and the predictions are compared with the actual values to evaluate the forecasting effectiveness of the single SARIMA model and the SARIMA-SVM hybrid model. The overall trend of AIDS incidence in China from 2004 to 2024 shows an upward trend, with certain seasonal characteristics. The root mean square error (RMSE) of the SARIMA model's forecast results is approximately 578.718, and the mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) is about 11.163%. The root mean square error (RMSE) of the SARIMA-SVM hybrid model's forecast results is approximately 45.643, and the mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) is about 0.838%. The SARIMA-SVM combination model has a good fit and prediction effect on the number of AIDS monthly incidence, and the prediction accuracy is high, which can be used to predict the month-by-month incidence data of AIDS. Abstract: In modern society, emotion regulation and cognitive flexibility play an important role in coping with daily stress. Stress, as a physiological and psychological reaction, may affect the individual's cognitive function and emotional regulation ability, and the flexibility of emotional regulation is closely related to the individual's psychological adaptability. This paper first reviews the concepts of stress, emotion regulation and cognitive flexibility. Secondly, the related theoretical models are introduced, especially the flexibility of emotion regulation and the cognitive control model. Factors Associated with Caring Abilities of Medical-Surgical Nurses in Selected Hospitals in Shandong, China

Abstract: Background: The caring ability of nurses refers to their ability to care for, help, and take care of patients. Currently, due to the shortage of nursing human resources, nurses face high work pressure, and are generally lacking in emotional intelligence and self-regulation fatigue, which affects the nursing services they provide. Objective: The aim of this study is to identify the relevant factors associated with the nursing ability of nurses in the internal medicine and surgery wards of some hospitals in Shandong Province, clarify the relationship between nurses' emotional intelligence, self-regulation fatigue, stress, and caregiving ability, and provide reference for improving the quality of clinical nursing services. The sample size of this study is still relatively small, and the participants come from some hospitals in Shandong, which is a limitation and area for improvement in this study. Methods: A descriptive correlational study will involve 377 registered nurses who will be recruited via purposive non probability sampling. It will start in December 2024 and end within October 2025.The variables (emotional intelligence, self-regulatory fatigue, stress, and caring abilities) will be measured through research instruments, namely the Jefferson Nursing Student Physician-Patient Empathy Scale, Selective Caring Competency Scale, Walker and Avant's Conceptual Analysis Strategy, and Law's Emotional Discussion Scale. Research Progress of Imagingomics in Coronary CTA Evaluation of Vulnerable Plaques

Abstract: When vulnerable plaques in the coronary artery are ruptured or corrosive, they can easily lead to the occurrence of acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Today, various intracoronary imaging technologies can be used to detect vulnerable plaques. Traditional coronary CT angiography (CCTA, hereinafter referred to as coronary CTA) is considered a first-line choice for risk stratification of cardiovascular disease and to evaluate stable or unstable plaques. However, it mainly relies on subjective visual evaluation of diagnostic physicians and is prone to ignore many important features of vulnerable plaques. Imaging omics extracts many imaging features that cannot be captured by the human body from coronary CTA, which can better analyze and judge vulnerable plaques. Abstract: Primary dysmenorrhea (PD) is a prevalent issue among young women, impacting academic performance due to frequent school absenteeism and reduced class concentration. This study focuses on college students in Shandong Province, China, aiming to determine PD prevalence, menstrual patterns, and associated risk factors. Cross-sectional study with a stratified sampling of 1297 participants from five universities. The cross-sectional approach will assess socio-demographic profiles, lifestyle habits, medical histories, and their correlation with academic outcomes. By identifying these factors, the study seeks to develop a targeted intervention framework to enhance pain management for affected students. Insights from this research are crucial for shaping effective strategies that address the multifaceted challenges posed by PD, ultimately aiming to mitigate its detrimental effects on educational attainment and student well-being.
